Community Engagement

COMMUNITY AND STAKEHOLDER CONSULTATION AND PARTICIPATORY ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS AS PART OF PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

People increasingly expect to be involved in local decisions. Good engagement with people enables great design which in turn adds immense value to any project and its end-users.

We deliver meaningful public and stakeholder engagement and consultation for built and landscape projects, encouraging active and in-depth participation with tailored formats to suit specifics. We use a friendly ‘communications-led’ approach and maintain an on-going dialogue with the client, consultees and the media throughout, so as to promote the project and greater community ownership.

We have training and experience with various socio-economic, cultural and hard-to-reach groups who use and experience landscapes in different ways. Our approach for each project may vary but has included facilitated co-design workshops, site and study tours,  exhibitions, social media, websites and questionnaires and work with a dedicated school, youth and focus groups to ensure everyone has the chance to be represented and heard.
