Marc Tomes
- Director
I am a chartered landscape architect, urban designer and a community planner with 20 years of international experience in both public and private sectors. My aim is to create better outcomes for people, places and for nature through meaningful, collaborative and creative planning and design processes.
With training and experience in people-orientated leadership, management and engagement, I apply my skills and lessons learnt to the projects I lead and collaborate on.
Working at a wide range of scales I have delivered successful urban strategies and masterplans, open space strategies, management plans and LVIAs through to designing new streetscapes, open spaces and green infrastructure. I am adaptable, approachable, professional and a trusted advisor to many clients and collaborators.
I have given presentations and workshops on ‘place-making’ and have provided critique support to landscape and architectural university students. I am a member of the Landscape Institute’s Policy and Communications Committee,
