TRAILS AND CYCLEWAYS - ROADS, RAILWAYS AND AIRPORTS - FEASIBILITY AND MASTERPLANS - ROUTE ANALYSIS - LVIA - EXTERNAL WORKS, PLANTING, BIODIVERSITY AND MANAGEMENT
The National Infrastructure Delivery Plan 2016–2021 commits £100 billion to transport and infrastructure projects. We support larger multi-disciplinary companies in major road and rail projects with optimal design and specification, landscape assessment, streamlining the planning process, mitigating impacts and in the implementation of discrete projects.
We have substantial in-house experience in major road projects from the last period of expansion from route option analysis, planting and mitigation and acting as expert witness at public inquiry, and in rail projects including the lineside and stations of the East London Line.
As a stand-alone practice, we have also led or contributed landscape expertise to airport expansion and diversification, energy and recycling, flood defence and water attenuation, housing, regeneration and social Infrastructure projects (refer also to our housing, public realm and schools experience).
The Infrastructure Carbon Review has set an ambition to reduce carbon emissions across projects. We have laid out our climate change commitments here.
