Winner of the Public Park BALI Award, Allen Scott was instrumental in securing successful NLHF Round 1 and 2 bids for £2.4m and designing the enhancement packages for this hugely popular local park. The project has transformed some areas into a more accessible and modern park with a new entrance, cafe and volunteering facilities whilst restoring important heritage aspects such as original Robert Marnock dripping grottoes and upper lake, rhododendron displays and an oast house whilst creating improved landscapes with a wetland and boardwalk, woodland trails, a community orchard and the design of a large bespoke playground.
