A design study for Rye Peninsula explored commercial investment based options for re-modelling the area to become a vibrant waterside destination. The aim was to connect the peninsula with the town and increase the profile and offer of its marine related industries, including the fisheries, moorings and dry dock area. Aligned to this, the study also explored how housing, business, leisure and heritage could be masterplanned to ensure the area retains its character and sense of place.
