A large sculptural brand for Manor Royal BID at one of the major roundabout entrances to the business district. The Big 'M' was designed by Allen Scott through a series of workshops with local businesses and delivered on a very tight budget. The corten cladding over a steel frame is perforated to reveal a foliage pattern reproduced from surrounding and retained existing trees. The angle of the sculpture was carefully planned through photomontages, also used in the planning application process, such that whilst fronting the main vehicular approach it also works in the round from all directions.
